Tokyo – First snow observed on the ground in November in 142 years

This is the result of Global Warming — more cold and snow.

You may have already seen the headlines in the mainstream media about Tokyo having received the first November snow in 54 years.

Those headlines are misleading, because they’re referring to snow flurries.

When it comes to snow actually sticking to the ground, you realize that this was a lot bigger deal than most people realize.

This was the first time  fallen snow on the ground has been observed in Tokyo in November since records began in 1875, said the Japan Meteorological Agency.

Previously, the earliest snow on the ground had been observed on on 6 December 1987, according to the JMA.
