Locally heavy rainfall and a few severe thunderstorms are possible over the Southeast and Mid Atlantic as the remnants of Nestor move across the region through Sunday. Elsewhere, periods of rain and snow can be expected over the Pacific Northwest, Plains, and Upper Mississippi Valley while scattered strong to severe thunderstorms affect parts of Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma by late Sunday.
