Too bad there’s a bigger commitment to illegals than to legal students.
Washington State University’s new president has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to all students, including illegal aliens, following President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration. The 90 day order issued Friday bans travel to the US by citizens from 7 predominantly Muslim countries. The move from the President also suspends the refugee program for 120 days. WSU President Kirk Schulz issues a statement Monday morning saying, “WSU shares deep concerns expressed nationwide about the executive order”. President Schulz went on to say, “Let us be absolutely clear: We welcome and support all members of the WSU community and will continue to foster a diverse and inclusive community. President Schulz also stated that WSU”s “unqualified support extends to our undocumented students as authorized by the state”. WSU is also advising foreign citizens and their families impacted by the order to avoid traveling outside the country.
