HANCOCK COUNTY, Indiana — New video was released by the Indiana State Police Department pertaining to Moscow murder suspect Bryan Kohberger being pulled over in Indiana.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy conducted a traffic stop with a white Hyundai Elantra on a highway just before 10:45 a.m. on December 15. The sheriff’s office says the car was pulled over just east of a rest park for following too closely.
Bryan Kohberger and his father were in the car when he was pulled over. ABC reported on Monday that Bryan Kohberger was pulled over twice during their drive from Pullman to Pennsylvania.
Bryan and his father were released with a verbal warning for following a car too close.
When the traffic stop happened, police say there was no information available on a suspect for the murder of four University of Idaho students or on the vehicle Idaho police and Moscow police were looking for.
The vehicle has since been seized by police in Pennsylvania.
Bryan Kohberger waived his extradition to Idaho on Tuesday in a hearing held in Pennsylvania. He is expected to be in Idaho within the next 10 days, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The Latah County Sheriff’s Office says he will not be leaving for Idaho Tuesday night.
