Moscow Police are looking for 2 men who reportedly burglarized several parked vehicles in the East part of town on Saturday afternoon. Officers responded to multiple car prowls at the aquatics center, the Joseph Street ballfields and surrounding area. The men took purses and wallets stealing a large amount of cash. Some of the cars had windows busted out while others were left unlocked or had the windows rolled down.

Witnesses were able to photograph the vehicle that the men were using which had a stolen license plate. The vehicle is a newer black Nissan Rogue. The stolen Idaho plate on the car is 1LE8177. The suspects are described as black males in their 20’s. One had short hair while the other had short dreadlocks.

Officers believe the thefts are related to a recent rash of similar car burglaries in the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley. Anyone with information about this rash of car prowls is asked to contact the Moscow PD.
