1 Nov 2016 – Spokane broke its rainfall record for the rainiest month ever, clocking in 6.21 inches of rain as of yesterday.
The previous monthly rainfall record in Spokane came in November of 1897, when it rained 5.85 inches.
The previous October record of 5.41 inches was set in 1947.
When precipitation records begin falling in the winter (as snow), perhaps then we can admit that we’re entering an ice age.
