Cannabis is being added to the curriculum at a growing number of colleges to prepare graduates for jobs in the blossoming marijuana and hemp industries. Northern Michigan University and Minot State University in North Dakota have launched medical plant chemistry majors that are the closest thing to a four-year degree in marijuana. In New York and New Jersey, two universities are developing interdisciplinary minors in cannabis studies.
