Since there is no vaccine for COVID-19, there is no way to stop the infections.
The CDC wants to spread out the cases over time so that the healthcare industry isn’t inundated all at once.
It’s a brilliant move. But it will force the government intervention to last longer in order to work.
Also, Americans will grow tired of these draconian measures within weeks and will start ignoring them.
We’ll see how it goes.
