Effort underway to try and designate WSU as a “sanctuary campus” for undocumented students

This is easy: cut off 100% of federal funding to all “sanctuary campuses.” We’ll see how much they care for illegal aliens vs. their money from the feds.

An Association of Professors at Washington State University is supporting an effort designating the institution as a “sanctuary campus” for undocumented students.  The WSU Chapter of the American Association of Professors is backing a petition which asks the university to ban US Immigration agents from campus and block immigration officials from obtaining student information.  There are efforts to designate about 30 universities across the country as sanctuaries for illegal aliens.  WSU President Kirk Shulz has already issued a statement supporting undocumented students saying “WSU offers life-changing college experiences to our undocumented students as authorized by the state”.  The association is asking the university to further affirm the effort by adopting the petition.
