Grateful for the rain we’ve had. I’ve not needed to water hardly at all. And never in the backyard.
The City of Moscow is asking residents to curtail water use as 2 municipal wells are offline for repairs. City officials believe they have enough water for domestic use but they are asking residents to avoid using excess water whenever possible. Pumps on 2 of the city’s 5 wells are down for maintenance. The scheduled work ended up requiring additional repairs on one of the wells which won’t be back up and running until later this Summer. The other pump that’s out of service won’t be back on for several weeks. The City of Moscow is bringing a new well online which will provide additional flexibility with this type of situation in the future.
