Shay Connell, an 8-year-old Pullman resident who was born with a congenital heart defect, is hosting a sno-cone and lemonade stand from 2-5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Center Street and Finch Way in Pullman.
Connell was granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2017 and is partnering with Marissa and Jack Carper, the children of one of her wish granters, to host the stand as a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All donations will go to the foundation.
Connell will serve sno-cones, lemonade and baked goods.
