Attempted Child Abduction in Moscow–Police searching for suspect

The Moscow Police Department is notifying the public of an attempted child abduction in the area of East D Street and Mountain View Road at approximately 3:00 pm this afternoon.

A 12-year-old boy was grabbed by a white male, but was able to get away before anything happened. The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20’s, 5′ 08″ tall, with a chubby build and brown curly hair. He is wearing a two-toned hoodie, either tie-dye or two shades of green with grey jogging pants and Black Vans-style shoes with white soles.

The suspect was last seen running east on D Street away from the area.

Update on the attempted child abduction in Moscow:   Moscow Police had the witness sit down with a sketch artist, and addition details were obtained about the suspect. The suspect is probably a smoker, because he smelled like cigarettes, and had heavy body odor. He was wearing a multi-colored tie dye sweatshirt with VANS across chest in black letters, black Vans shoes, a hoodie with the hood up over his head, and has heavy acne on cheeks.
