You have got to love the spin that the Washington Post puts on everything.
The Washington Post received sharp pushback Sunday after publishing a headline about the death of ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi which described him as an “austere religious scholar.”
The headline read: “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48.”
Social media users savaged the news outlet for the take:
These savagings are well deserved.

This is disgusting. Who wrote the obituary headline and what explanation could the @washingtonpost possibly give? Unacceptable on every level. https://t.co/SrZnRKwGcB

Washington Post headline Baghdadi “austere religious scholar” is so sick it represents a pathology of leftwing self hatred. He was the world’s leading terrorist and tens of thousands ded because of him.
