When it comes to spending taxpayer money, Trump is the Democrats’ best friend.
“We agreed on a number, which was very, very good — two trillion dollars for infrastructure,” said Schumer. “Originally, we had started a little lower…even the President was eager to push it up to two trillion dollars and that is a very good thing.”
They did not come up with a plan on how to pay for the plan, but agreed to meet with President Trump in three-weeks to listen to his strategy for funding.
