I meant to post on this last week as well but forgot to.
“The last time somebody told Americans to sit down and shut up was 1776.”
Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods excoriated New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after she tweeted out a challenge urging critics of the controversial Green New Deal to propose an alternative or else acknowledge that she and her ilk are “in charge.”
“If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis,” the freshman congresswoman wrote in response to a tweet from the Human Rights Commission’s Charlotte Clymer. “Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats.”

Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis. Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats. https://t.co/h3KSJhHqDN
This didn’t sit well with Woods, who interpreted Ocasio-Cortez’s words as a condescending exhortation to Americans, ordering them to “sit down and shut up.”

So, you may have missed this, but the way it works in America is YOU work for US. The last time somebody told Americans to sit down and shut up was 1776. If you ever learn to read, look it up.
