When the NY Times and MSNBC turn on Hillary, you have to wonder.
David Ignatius: “It is a steady drip-drip-drip of these stories that call into question her honesty and reliability. I doubt myself that unless they are major revelations that either of these issues is going to move the needle enough with the groups that Trump needs to make a difference in this election. The people who are shocked by emails, for whom Benghazi is a trigger point — those people are already Trump supporters.”
Mika Brzezinski: “I don’t know how many different ways this can come at the Clintons. This is causing problems.”
On the New York Times’ call for Clinton to shut down the Clinton Family Foundation immediately:
“On this Clinton Foundation point, the New York Times is absolutely right. It is outrageous to have someone running for president of the U.S. to have her husband raising money from foreign governments, from wealthy foreign individuals who want to influence the United States.”
Then on the fact that so many Middle Eastern heads of state (and many other foreign dignitaries) have donated to the Clinton family.
“It is just wrong. Anybody can feel that. I don’t understand for the life of me why she said if she won’t do this as president — just stop it now! Not because of politics, because it is the right thing to do.“
