Emergency declared over ‘invasion’ of polar bears on Russian islands

Wait, what? Polar Bears are supposed to be extinct by now? And moving North because their habitat is melting away due to global warming. 

Not. 

Authorities in the Russian archipelago of Novaya Zemlya have declared a state of emergency after more than 50 polar bears were spotted in the region.
