I said this would be coming down the pike.
If homosexuals can force florists (and bakers) to violate their religious conscience and (decorate and) bake wedding cakes, why not force halal supermarkets to sell alcohol and pork; or forcing kosher delis to serve ham sandwiches?
In Colombes, France, the local housing authority has ordered a halal supermarket to sell alcohol and pork or it will shut the market down. The housing authority, from which the market leases its property, says the store is violating its lease, which calls for it to be a “general food store.” Officials say the store also violates the nation’s republican principles by prioritizing certain groups. The owner of the store says he is just selling what his customers want.

First, what case are you referring to with your comment of ‘homosexuals can force florists to violate their religious conscience and bake wedding cakes’??? Or are you referring to cases where florists are refusing to sell their flowers to homosexuals and cake bakers are refusing to bake cakes for homosexuals? If the latter, It’s not a good comparison to a store that doesn’t even stock items. ‘Gee, yes we’re in the business of selling flowers, but we’re not selling flowers to you colored folks because we don’t like your ilk’. Yeah, you can’t get away with that sort of thing (any longer) in the United States.
I didn’t complete the parallel in my post. I fixed it.
Thanks for catching that.
