I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: when I was living in Germany, if I were to have overstayed my Visa, they would have sent me packing, not put me on welfare.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions orders a review of a legal loophole, allowing judges to keep illegal immigrants in the country without closing their cases.
Sessions announced the move Friday, attempting to ban the policy which shields illegal immigrants from deportation while their cases are reviewed.
According to a report, the decision could re-open 350,000 cases which are currently sealed due to the procedure.
The attorney general said the move is meant to help hasten the judicial process in immigration courts.
