Washington State University’s meteorologist says we could be in store for another rough Winter. Nic Loyd reports that a La Nina is developing in the tropical Pacific Ocean which typically causes cooler, wetter Winters in the Northwest. Last year’s La Nina caused over 60 inches of snow to fall in Spokane. Last weekend’s early snowfall might be an indication that a heavy Winter is on the way. The region’s first measurable snow of the year normally falls in mid-November. Spokane’s nearly 7 inches of snow smashed the old record for November 5thset 4 years ago.
