Alexandria Shooter Found With List of Republican Congressman

Last week the nation experienced a terrifying attack where a lone gunman, James T. Hodgkinson, unloaded on several Republican congressmen and staffers during a practice for an upcoming baseball game. Hodgkinson was killed on scene by police, but investigators have uncovered some troubling new details about his intentions.

After the shooting ended and police were able to conduct an autopsy report, a list was recovered from Hodgkinson’s person. The list in question contained the names of Republican members of Congress as well as others as reported by The Daily Caller.

The list contained the names of Tennessee Rep. Scot Desjarlais, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, Virginia Rep. Morgan Griffith, Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks, South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan, and Arizona Rep. Trent Franks, which was confirmed by Fox News. Although it’s easy to speculate, a law enforcement source told CNN that it’s not 100 percent clear that the list was an assassination list.

Franks confirmed that the FBI has been contacting congressman to inform them of their spots on the list, while on “The Story with Martha MacCallum.” Although Franks discussed the FBI’s involvement, the FBI Washington field office hasn’t provided no comment with regards to its ongoing investigation.
