James Comey: AG Lynch Asked Me to Refer to Clinton Investigation as a “Matter”

In response to a question from Senator RIchard Burr, the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Mr. Comey says that then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch asked him not to call the Clinton probe an “investigation,” but rather a “matter.”
