Another round of flooding is predicted for the Palouse region.  The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a flood warning for the Palouse River.  The Palouse in Potlatch is expected to crest at just over 19 feet Wednesday night which would case major flooding.  That would send water over the Flannigan Creek Road bridge spanning the Palouse River and cause flooding in Palouse at the city shop and some areas along Main Street.  Lions Club Park in Palouse would be completely under water.  That would mark the biggest flood for the Palouse River in 20 years.  The Palouse River is at about 13 feet on Tuesday morning with flood stage at 15 feet.  You can see current levels of the Palouse here http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=otx&gage=ploi1

Paradise Creek in Moscow is under a flood watch.  The creek in Moscow is just over 8 feet Tuesday morning with the flood stage at 9.2 feet.  Minor flooding is possible along Paradise Creek in Moscow.

The South Fork of the Palouse River in Pullman is not expected to hit flood stage.  The entire Palouse region is under a general flood watch until Wednesday night.
