Wettest February of modern era: Portland breaks precipitation record
Portland made history Tuesday. Good, bad or otherwise: It’s now the wettest February on record at the city’s airport, according to the National Weather Service. Portland International Airport has received 10.04 inches of precipitation this month, as of early Tuesday afternoon, eclipsing a record of 10.03 inches that was set in 1996.
