Meanwhile forecasters are downgrading the possibility of flooding on the Palouse River. The National Weather Service is now predicting the Palouse River in Potlatch to crest at about 14 feet early Wednesday morning. Flood stage is 15 feet. A Flood Watch remains in affect for the Palouse region.
