On Tuesday night CNN did something extraordinary.
They took to seasoned politicians from opposite ends of the ideological spectrum and had them debate a controversial subject – Obamacare. Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) went toe-to-toe over Obamacare and several other political issues that the healthcare law affected. Sanders, from a socialist perspective, defended the overreaching government takeover of America’s healthcare, and Cruz opposed the legislative monstrosity from a free-market point of view.
And Ted took Bernie to the woodshed. Ted had all the numbers; Bernie had all the emotions. And since we live in a touchy-feely generation where facts don’t matter…
