I’m not surprised that Dem’s feel this way. It has no basis in reality, but it’s a feeling.
Democrats think that Muslims are worse off in the U.S. than Christians are in the Islamic world, a new Rasmussen Reports poll shows.
Thirty-nine percent (39%) of likely U.S. voters feel Muslims living in America are mistreated because of their religion, up from 31 percent in 2016.
Of the survey’s respondents, a whopping 56 percent of Democrats believe Muslims are treated unfairly, in contrast with 22 percent of Republicans and 39 percent of people not affiliated with either major party.
Even more, only 47 percent of Democrats believe Christians are mistreated in the Islamic world, compared to 76 percent of Republicans, 64 percent of unaffiliated respondents, and 62 percent of likely U.S. voters overall.
Most voters agree that Christians living in the Muslim world are fiercely persecuted for their religion.
According to the 2017 Open Doors USA World Watch List (WWL), “2016 was the worst year of persecution on record with a shocking 215 million Christians experiencing high levels of persecution for their faith.”
