Record snowstorm leaves four dead in Minnesota

NewImageThe term “climate change” is meaningless since the climate has always been changing — even before a single drop of oil was pulled out of the ground.

What conservatives need to do is to hold the progressives’ feet to the fire about the changing definitions — always in search of money, of course.

This via the UK’s Daily Mail and Ice Age Now:

More than 10 inches of snow fell in Duluth, Scanlon and Hermantown on Friday, causing chaos on the roads.

There were 217 crashes across the state related to snow, and four people died.

The Daily Mail blamed the chaos on “unusual wintry showers and icy roads.”

Unusual? Well, yeah, if you’re willing to call record-breaking snowfall “unusual.”

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Duluth received a record-breaking 10.6 inches (26.9 cm) of snow on Friday.

That 10.6 inches of snow was the highest single day snowfall accumulation, not just for Duluth, but for any city in Minnesota – on any day in October.

The previous October snowfall record of 10 inches was set in 1933, when Franklin D. Roosevelt was president.

So yeah, I guess breaking an 84-year-old snowfall record might be considered kind of unusual.
