Idaho’s next governor will be either Lt. Gov. Brad Little or former state Rep. Paulette Jordan.
Little won a hotly contested GOP primary in the race to replace Idaho Republican Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter on Tuesday night, while Jordan defeated her Democratic opponents.
Little secured the nomination against top candidate U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador and Boise businessman Tommy Ahlquist. The 38-year-old Jordan, who is a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, won the primary against 72-year-old Boise businessman A.J. Balukoff.
