Things are spiraling in Iran.
I appreciate Clarion’s editorial note on the subject:
Editorial note: While Clarion supports protest against blasphemy law and opposes the Islamic Republic of Iran, we do not endorse book burning in general, especially not burning books considered sacred. While such a protest may be appropriate in Iran, where a clerical regime controls every aspect of life, it would be an act of anti-Muslim bigotry to burn the book in a Western country. However, under the First Amendment it is legal to burn books that one owns.
