The Department of Justice asked the nation’s highest court to allow officials to fully implement President Trump’s revised travel restrictions.

The latest version restricts travel from Chad, Venezuela, and North Korea, adding them to the list of six terror prone countries.

The DOJ argues the president’s travel order is solely focused on national security, and has nothing to do with religious affiliation.

This comes after a California appeals court ruled only parts of the travel halt could take affect.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration says it’s ending a temporary visa program for Haitian migrants living in the U.S.

On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security said conditions in Haiti have improved significantly, and extended the benefit until July of 2019.

Reports say the Temporary Residency Permit Program has allowed for nearly 60,0000 citizens from Haiti to live and work in the U.S.
