As I mentioned previously, time will tell whether this was an alt-right type targeting the antifa. An antifa targeting what he thought was the alt-right. Or a random anarchist targeting whoever he could take out. Via NBC News:
One person was killed at least nine others were injured in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a car plowed through a group of counter-protesters who were demonstrating against an alt-right and white nationalist rally.
Charlottesville Police Chief Al Thomas said a 32-year-old woman was killed and the suspect vehicle which fled was found moments later and a male driver was arrested. Thomas said the nine people hurt had injuries ranging from life threatening to minor.
