Retention training and a good retention holster are important, but I've never heard of "gun-grab" happen although I'm sure they have. I doubt it's all that common. Criminals generally avoid odds not in their favor.

Cops who are shot with their own weapon are usually trying to grapple with someone which I would not suggest anyone carrying a gun to do.

Open carry is more comfortable, and I'd be happier if it was more accepted. Open carriers do not reduce the threat of concealed carriers. For every open carry you'll see, there are many more concealed carry going unseen.

US Constitution, what's that. I thought I heard the Democratics claim Bush was violating it, but I haven't seen any reference about it since. Kind of like the media coverage of the wars. I wasn't sure we were still militarily in Iraq and Afghanistan since Obama got to office.

It is actually not a very sound way of carrying since one is giving up the significant advantage of surprise. Another negative is the reality that open carry places one in a position of vulnerability for gun grabs, a skill-set practiced by felons. How many open-carry enthusiasts train repetitively to thwart a gun-grab?

I enthusiastically support armed citizens, but open carry is unsupportable unless one is going to train reularly for all of the complexities that accompany it.

Except there are local laws prohibiting open carry in Oregon such as in Oregon City and Portland.

I've seen people open-carrying in Moscow just going to the grocery store.

Jesus is not a mixture of Mary's DNA and God's DNA. God did not have physical relations with Mary leaving behind his DNA. You are just following the heresy of Arius, the priest of Alexandria.

I would expect something similar to happen if we have mandated socialized health care. When funding is put under pressure, as it is now, there has to be investigations to find abuses. In health, eventually, we'll be subject to investigations about how much fat, sugar, beef, alcohol we consume and our exercise routines (you have one don't you?), etc.

If it wasn't included in Scripture, it wasn't ever doctrine. Please provide the old D & C verse number where Young's quote used to be.

Why did the Jews at first only have to be circumsized, but then had additional requirements added? Continuing revelation is a wonderful thing. As mankind gets wiser and gets ready for it, more and more of God's truth can be revealed.

So I guess your church doesn't believe that it's the correct church. Please provide examples of your church's doctrine that your church teaches are incorrect. Don't have any? All churches believe that they have the correct doctrine; the LDS Church is no different. (Except maybe the Universal Unitarians. If you're one of those, then I withdraw my criticism.)

God did. Jesus was a mixture of Mary's DNA and God's DNA, just like you're a mixture of your Mother's DNA and Father's DNA. Jesus is the only-begotten Son of God, just like it says in the Scriptures.

And, it's spelled "archaeologist" or "archeologist", not "archiologist".

Bubble, You are correct. The LDS's do not currently teach that about Adam. But they used to. Brigham taught it and believed it and supported it. It was not just his opinion. It was church doctrine. The same tactic goes for a plethera of other inconvienent doctrines.

What happened to blacks not getting to be priests? Just chalk it up to changing revelation and a need for fullbacks on the BYU team? Or how about the old doctrine that allowed for plural marriages and then was removed when the federal heat was applied?

If your doctrines are so tenuous when they were founded only later to be removed or nullified, how can one know which one will remain in the end? I know that BYU archiologist have been trying for years to find evidence in central and south america that the Book of Mormon was real. But alas to no avail.

Not one single artifact can be traced back to the BOM. Where as the Bible has thousands of evidences of place names and people. If the Book of Mormon is made up by a foolish young boy then the foundation is unstable. If the foundation is shakey then the religion is false and of no effect.

Your "church" claims that all denominations are apostate and yours is the only one "restored" in the "latter days" to the rightful orthodoxy. Is the power of God so flaky so as to be removed from the earth only later to be restored through a charlatan? May it never be.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true God and Savior of mankind. The jesus of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young is not.

Here is a final question. Who had relations with Mary to produce Jesus according to LDS tradition, presidents, elders and church documents?

No, the Church does not teach that belief about Adam. Not everything ever said by Church leaders is automatically included in scripture. President Monson once said, "I parked my car at Temple Square". However, that doesn't mean that all Mormons are required to only park their car at Temple Square. Prophets can have individual beliefs on areas not covered by scripture, but that doesn't mean those beliefs are automatically doctrine.

It looks to me like these "teachings" you claim to be of the Church aren't really teachings of the Church at all, but rather disjointed bits and pieces picked up by anti-Mormons. You should try going to lds.org if you want to see what the Church really teaches.

Wow! They reinvented the wheel. Great idea for earth moving equipment, but unlikely to catch on for passenger cars unless they have longer tread life and / or lower cost that what's currently on the market.
