Around 100 protesters, in an act of non-violent resistance, are defying North Dakota governor’s eviction notice. Earlier, the few remaining structures at the Oceti Sakowin camp were burned as protesters departed.
The protestors are burning several large fires. So much for their concern for clean air and the environment.
